The Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office searched the rooms of the rbb directorate on Saturday morning. Several documents – a total of three boxes – were confiscated, as the spokesman for the Attorney General, Sebastian Büchner, announced.
The search on the 13th floor of the television center is a “normal measure” in the course of the ongoing investigations into the former director Patricia Schlesinger, her husband and the resigned rbb board chairman Wolf-Dieter Wolf. There is an initial suspicion of infidelity and the acceptance of advantages. The presumption of innocence applies until the allegations have been clarified. The documents are to be evaluated in the coming week.
The rbb press office also confirmed that the search took place in the television center. The workforce was informed about this on the intranet.
