It shouldn’t be long before Apple will present the next model in the iPhone series. Before that, however, there is a possible leak to the iPhone 14 Pro. The well-known leaker Ice Universe now wants to have uploaded a picture of a screen protector. You can see the so-called punch holes with which the next smartphone from Cupertino could be equipped.
Punch holes instead of notch on the iPhone 14?
Rumors have been circulating in recent months that that Apple would leave the notch behind. Since 2017’s iPhone X, the company has relied on the notch at the top of its phones. Various insiders reported that the iPhone 14 would use a dual-hole punch design, as is already the case with many Android smartphones.
According to the Ice Universe image, the so-called punch holes could be quite large if they are actually used on the iPhone 14 Pro. The industry insider already had that Ross Young predicted in February 2022. According to him, all four new iPhone 14 models will be delivered with the new design.
Recently it was rumored that the iPhone 14 with a improved A15 bionic chip could be equipped. Only the Pro models of the new smartphone are supposed to get the new A16 chip, while the other variants of the iPhone 14 rely on the A15, which was already installed in the iPhone 13. According to insiders, however, the A15 is said to be an improved version compared to last year.
