Schyrenbad historically: swimming according to regulations – Munich

“And now: ass bomb!” Calls out a lady to her grandson, and he doesn’t take long to ask. He cheers, it splashes, the water splashes. A gentleman is lying on the meadow next door leafing through a tabloid. “Mama, bring Papa in,” calls a girl from the pool, but it is obviously too cool for her, he is still fully dressed on a bench at the edge of the pool. It is a Monday morning in the Schyrenbad in Untergiesing, and there is little going on, the sky is cloudy, rain is forecast. Eight swimmers are crawling in the water, and in the paddling pool little Louis is crawling with his brother on a slide that looks like a lighthouse. As soon as they are up, it goes down, upside down.
