A 62-year-old man was sentenced to ten years in prison by the Schweinfurt regional court for years of serious sexual abuse of his stepdaughter. A court spokesman confirmed this on Thursday. The man was convicted of serious sexual abuse of a child in 54 cases, for rape, sexual assault, human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography.
Appeals had not been lodged a day after the verdict, the spokesman said. According to media reports, the 62-year-old abused his stepdaughter as a child, forced prostitution as a teenager – and later married. In the marriage he is said to have raped and tortured her.
