The theory sounds simple: air filters for as many classrooms in Bavaria as possible – the state government promised that last week until the start of the new school year. The devices should support ventilation in corona times, filter virus-containing particles from the air, reduce the risk of infection and, at best, make classroom teaching possible despite the pandemic. But what exactly this should look like in practice is currently one thing above all for Johann Keller, Managing Director of the Bavarian District Association: a “big question mark”.
