‘Scarface’, ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saull’ actor Mark Margolis dies aged 83

A prolific actor

Born in 1939 in Philadelphia, Mark Margolis began his theater career on the boards of Broadway. He notably learned alongside Stella Adler at the Actors Studio, then Lee Strasberg and Barbara Loden.

Mark Margolis had acted in more than 70 films during his career, including scarfaceby Brian de Palma in which he interpreted the role of Alberto “The Shadow”, a bodyguard, but also black swan, Gone Baby Gone or Requiem for a Dream. He also appeared in the series oz, Sex and the City, American Horror Story, Californication or Gotham.
