In one of his announcements, SBF cited a “mystery sparring partner” that may have played a role in the downfall of his trading board. And some speculated that it might be CZ after he said that only “psychopaths” could tweet like this. It says the industry is not a boxing match, and Binance has never looked at its competitors this way.
The SBF released a cryptic tweet that did not provide enough clarification on the incident. In his latest message, he mentions a “particular sparring partner” that may have hurt FTX’s operations as the biggest player in the industry and decided to drop FTT tokens before the collapse. This led some to speculate that the mysterious identity could be Binance or another top executive.
In a recent interview, CZ denied rumors describing SBF as a “psychopath” written in the tweet. He also said that Binance is not aiming to eliminate the micro platform. but to help them during this dire situation.
He also argued that SBF should stop his confusing tweets and focus on “Troubleshooting” caused by the mistakes of his venture:
