The middle-aged woman is believed to have been electrocuted while climbing onto a locomotive. The police investigations are still ongoing.

After the discovery of a body on a shunting locomotive in Döbeln, the police have so far had no evidence of a crime. The woman probably climbed onto the locomotive, suffered an electric shock and died, the investigators said on Friday.

The body was found on Thursday after a tip was made by a witness. The locomotive stood on a siding at Döbeln station in the district of Mittelsachsen. The woman was middle-aged, according to police. More detailed information on the identity would not be given because of the ongoing investigations.
