Dresden – Corona suspected in Saxony’s Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (46)!
In the closest family environment of the CDU politician, a positive corona test occurred over the weekend. “My wife has tested positive,” said the Prime Minister via a video message from the home office. Kretschmer’s wife Annett Hofmann has mild symptoms.
A quick test at Kretschmer himself was initially negative. In the meantime, the MP has done a PCR test, the result of which is still pending.
Kretschmer initially canceled all appointments with personal presence for Monday, went into quarantine at home and is currently working online from home.
A video conference with Health Minister Petra Köpping (63, SPD), among others, has been announced for the afternoon, at which Kretschmer also wants to advise on the current Corona situation in Free State.
According to the Prime Minister himself, he has been vaccinated twice with Astra-Zeneca.
