German actor Christian Oliver, known for his roles in the series “Cobra Alert” and the films “Speed Racer” and “Saved by the Bell”, died, along with his two daughters, in a plane crash in the Caribbean, this Friday January 5, 2024.
Actor Christian Oliver’s accident occurred during a private flight, which also included his two daughters, Madita Klepser and Annik Klepser, 10 and 12 years old. The man who starred in the films “Speed Racer”, “Indiana Jones and the Clock of Destiny” and “Saved by the Bell”, died at the age of 51, along with his two daughters and the pilot.

The small plane crashed this Thursday in the ocean “a few moments after takeoff”, near the island of Little Nevis, in the archipelago of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in the Caribbean, reports notably the Huffington Post.

Their bodies “were recovered from the plane by Coast Guard personnel and were then declared by a forensic doctor,” said the local police on their official Facebook account.
The plane plunges into the ocean
“Moments after take-off, the aircraft experienced difficulty and plunged into the ocean. Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm attended the incident in their boats to assist. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly went to Paget Farm, Bequia, to assist in the rescue operations,” police said in a post on the social network.
An autopsy is underway and an investigation has been opened. The causes of the crash have not yet been identified.
The plane had left the island of Bequia at midday and was supposed to go to that of Saint Lucia. Christian Oliver had numerous films and series to his credit, both in Germany and in Hollywood.
