Water is a liquid that is used daily in everyday life. Water can be liquid, solid or gaseous and fulfills very different purposes. The majority of the drinking water used in the household is used for cleaning, personal hygiene and toilet flushing. It is used, for example, for showering, cooking, drinking, washing clothes or cleaning. People use only a small proportion for drinking and preparing food. In Germany, the daily per capita consumption of drinking water (in 2019) is around 125 liters of water. Interesting: Almost 30 years ago, a resident in Germany still used an average of 147 liters of water a day. However, due to a worldwide scarcity of water, water is a precious resource worth protecting. Water-saving gadgets can help save water in everyday life and use it more consciously.
Save water in the bathroom
Whether for brushing teeth, showering, washing hands or flushing the toilet – water is often used in the wet room. This is a good way to save water in the bathroom.
Tip 1: water-saving shower head
Conventional shower heads use an average of twelve to 15 liters per minute. So if you shower for ten minutes, you use around 150 liters of water. Remedy should be a water saving shower head create.
