Officials of the Holzkirchen motorway police pulled two speeders out of traffic on Friday afternoon in the thick fog on the A8. Shortly after Sauerlach, a 24-year-old man from Munich had overtaken several vehicles at high speed in the right-hand lane in his high-powered car because the convoy was moving too slowly. He then switched to the left lane. At the height of Holzkirchen, in the area of a construction site, he was traveling at a speed of 120 despite the permitted 80 kilometers per hour. In heavy traffic, he repeatedly overtook vehicles on the right at breakneck speed, as the police reported. Shortly before Weyarn he pushed a driver in the left lane and drove up to 17 meters at 135 km / h. When the 24-year-old was stopped, he said he didn’t really have time and was in a rush. A fine of 1000 euros and a two-month driving ban are waiting for him. Another driver from Hamburg was, according to the police, shortly after 2 p.m. in the fog in the Holzkirchen area at speeds of up to 171 kilometers per hour. He also gets a fine and a driving ban.
