Sauerlach artist group presents annual exhibition – district of Munich

Is Sauerlach a place of creativity and creativity? At least that’s what the members of the Sauerlach artists’ circle claim, and anyone who wants to be convinced of the truthfulness should visit the local history museum in the Arget district at the weekend (September 30th to October 3rd). After a two-year break, the 20th annual exhibition of the Sauerlach Artists’ Circle is taking place there. The exhibiting artists – Jürgen Fiege, Heinz Gaipl, Monika Gerke, Heidi Gosau, Rosi Kahl, Hela Karb, Angelika Kiermaier, Richard Tengler, Uriel Trejo – all live and work in Sauerlach. They show their new works, most of which were created during the past pandemic years. As always with group exhibitions, the variety of genres and subjects dominates: “Realistic and abstract representations and photographs, enduring beauties of nature or design, representations of emotions, but also representations that deal with the changing times” are announced. Andrea Wecke complements the exhibition with readings of her own poetry. The vernissage on Friday, September 30th starts at 7 p.m. It will be musically framed with swing and jazz by Helmut Beer (keyboard) and Helmut Königseder (saxophone). The artists are present. The exhibition is open on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
