Did you miss the news from the start of the morning? We have concocted a recap to help you see more clearly.

It is off again for the so-called “Bygmalion” trial. This must resume, this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in front of the 11th chamber of the Paris judicial court, two months after being adjourned due to the hospitalization of one of the lawyers in the proceedings affected by the coronavirus. Former executives of the UMP, responsible for the 2012 presidential campaign, leaders of Bygmalion: in total, fourteen people will appear for this case of false invoices. Among them: the right-wing candidate in 2012… Nicolas Sarkozy. 20 minutes looks back on the major issues of this trial scheduled to last until June 22.

The price of electricity is not to the liking of UFC-Que Choisir. The association denounces this Thursday an “explosion of bills”. According to his calculations, the regulated sales tariff (TRV) for electricity has increased by nearly 50% in ten years. In question according to the association for the defense of consumers: “the very organization of the electricity market”. The UFC-Que Choisir cites in particular the mechanism by which EDF is forced to sell part of its nuclear electricity to its competitors. It therefore calls for a public debate on the future of regulation.

PSG will not have a white season. The capital club won its 14th Coupe de France on Wednesday evening, beating Monaco 2-0. The evening winners, serene throughout, thus ensure they win at least one title this season. At the Stade de France, the match was above all marked by the performance of Kylian Mbappé, a player more essential than ever for Paris.
