Sarah Jessica Parker performs on Broadway with Matthew Broderick. At the opening night of her play, she shone in a pink dress.

Sarah Jessica Parker (57) and Matthew Broderick (60) celebrated the opening night of their Broadway play “Plaza Suite”. The celebrity couple, who have been married since 1997, smiled for the cameras on the red carpet at the Hudson Theater in New York City. The 57-year-old actress dazzled in a baggy, pink Prabal Gurung dress. The robe was adorned with glittering silver stars.

The ensemble Parker wore consisted of a pink slip dress that reached to the floor and was sewn tighter at the waist. On top of that lay a glittering, transparent cape with sparkling silver decorations. The “Sex and the City” star had tied her hair back in a tight updo. Her husband also made an elegant appearance at her side in a dark brown suit and green tie.

Cynthia Nixon (55) also didn’t want to miss the opening night of the play, in which Parker and Broderick play the leading roles. She will soon be back in front of the camera with Sarah Jessica Parker: The sequel to “Sex and the City” continues. Another season will be filmed for the spin-off “And Just Like That…”, as confirmed by HBO Max last week. The US streaming service published a short clip on Instagram, among other things, which reads: “And just like that, we’re coming back for season two.”

“I’m delighted and excited to tell more stories from these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actresses. In fact, we’re all excited,” producer, writer and director Michael Patrick King (67) is quoted as saying in a press release .

In Germany, the series can be seen via Sky Ticket. The ten episodes of the first season revolved around the well-known characters from “Sex and the City” Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis, 57) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon). The fourth in the group, Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall (65), was no longer part of the new series.
