Sandro Wagner sees Giorgio Chiellini as a worthy world footballer in 2021 – Lionel Messi, on the other hand, does not expect any chances.
Ex-national player Sandro Wagner has in his role as DAZN-Expert against Lionel Messi and pronounced for Giorgio Chiellini as a world footballer this year.
“Messi doesn’t deserve the Ballon d’Or,” explained Wagner, adding: “This year it’s clearly Chiellini for me. Lewandowski comes next. But Messi is zero percent.”
Chiellini celebrated for foul on Saka
Chiellini had won the European Championship with Italy after a final win on penalties against England and was then even celebrated by Jose Mourinho for a clever foul against Bukayo Saka.
At club level, Chiellini won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana with Juventus last season. Due to muscular problems, Chiellini only played 25 competitive games.
