Samsung has announced that it will be airing the Galaxy Unpacked in Metaverse on Decentraland this Wednesday at 9:30 p.m., with the launch of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8.
Metaverse fans can watch the event at a virtual store called the Samsung 837X, a replica of a store in New York City. and recreated within the Decentraland virtual platform, which can be accessed at Play.decentraland
Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event of Samsung is scheduled to be held inWednesday, February 9, starting at 9:30 p.m. To participate in the metaverse, head over to Decentraland at the link above. You can also choose to join as a guest (your data will be stored locally) or you can also connect to the MetaMask wallet, with the latter having more features. For example, collecting badges or various items to use in winning prizes.
How to visit Samsung store in Decentraland
- Go to Decentraland Island by following this link. which is the location of the Samsung 837X store
- On the web page, click on the option ‘Play using your wallet’ or Guest just name it, create an avatar and go in.
- If ‘Play using your wallet’ is selected, your wallet connection to Decentraland must be verified in the MetaMask plugin.
- Create your own Avatar of your choice. Can be customized by gender, face, skin color, hairstyle, mouth, mustache, clothes, etc.
- You will then arrive at the island where the Samsung 837X is located and can walk around the store through the door.
- If you’re logging into Decentraland for the first time, you’ll be able to access the island after creating an avatar and completing the tutorial.
