Samsung Electronics America has entered the metaverse world in partnership with Decentraland, an Ethereum-based virtual world platform.

The electronics giant has released a virtual version of its store, named after its physical store. Samsung 837 The storefront is located at 837 Washington Street in New York City’s Meatpacking District in Manhattan. A virtual store called Samsung 837X will open in Decentraland for a limited time.
“This is one of the largest brand acquisitions in the history of Decentraland,” Samsung said in a statement on Thursday.
The Samsung 837X Store will offer digital adventures through “Connectivity Theater and Sustainability Forest” and a music festival at “Customization Stage,” Samsung said.
Connectivity Theater will feature Samsung news from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) starting January 5th and running through January 8th, while Sustainability Forest offers guests a legendary experience through millions of digital trees.
And for the Customization Stage in Samsung’s 837X store, guests can experience a real-life dance party hosted by DJ Gamma Vibes from the Samsung 837 store.
Guests will be able to participate in missions. and be rewarded with an NFT 837X and one of three limited edition pieces of equipment. The winner will be announced at 8:37 PM ET on January 7th and will be available for sale on Decentraland Market.

How to visit Samsung store in Decentraland
- Go to Decentraland Island by following this link. which is the location of the Samsung 837X store
- On the web page, click on the ‘Play using your wallet’ option.
- Confirm your wallet connection and Decentraland in the MetaMask plugin.
- You will then arrive at the island where the Samsung 837X is located and can walk around the store through the door.
- If you’re logging into Decentraland for the first time, you’ll be able to access the island after creating an avatar and completing the tutorial.
As the Samsung 837X store will open in Decentraland for a limited time. But the company plans to open more throughout the year.
