Samantha Morton Joins the Cast of “She Said,” the Movie About the Journalists Who Bred Harvey Weinstein

She said is directed by Maria Schrader from a screenplay by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. Casting side, the two journalists at the center of the plot are played by Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan. Patricia Clarkson plays the role of the head of the investigation department of the prestigious daily and Andre Braugher that of the executive editor Dean Baquet.

For her part, Samantha Morton who is remembered for her roles in Cosmopolis or Minority Report, landed the role of Zelda Perkins, a former assistant to Harvey Weinstein who suffered her abuse and found herself stuck by the confidentiality agreement she signed with her contract. Samantha Morton also just wrapped up the filming of The Whale, the new film by Darren Aronofsky.

The output of She said is scheduled for fall 2022.
