Sam Bankman-Fried Says FTX Likely Launches Its Own Stablecoin

The CEO of popular exchange FTX confirmed in a recent interview that the company is working on launching its own stablecoin.

He also confirmed previous reports that FTX was looking for additional funding. and discusses the latest and potential acquisitions in the future.

Sam Bankman-Fried said It is “very likely” to pursue a stablecoin issuance soon, and now FTX is looking for a partner before launching the asset.

SBF also talks about an ongoing crypto bear market. But he added that his company has handled the bear market quite well as FTX continues to “expand its business, create new services and tools for its customers.”

Speaking about the FTX deal with Voyager and BlockFi, the CEO said: They were able to stabilize the market during times of increasing turmoil following the failure of the Terra ecosystem. However, he still believed they would. “This allows us to continue to strengthen our position in the United States.”

SBF further confirmed in its latest report that the exchange is looking for additional funding. which could be used for future acquisitions, however, he denied the news.rumorthat FTX plans to buy Robinhood
