Sam Asghari auditioned for a role in the “Sex and the City” spin-off “And Just Like That …”. But nothing came of it.
Sam Asghari (27), the fiancé of pop star Britney Spears (40), could have landed in the “Sex and the City” spin-off “And Just Like That …”. Like him according to “People” magazine revealed in a no longer available Instagram story that he was already looking forward to a certain role. Obviously nothing came of his audition. “Congratulations to the guy who got the role! It was a great role,” Asghari continued. He also posted a photo from the current fifth episode, “Tragically Hip”. In Germany, the series can be seen on Sky.

Sam Asghari auditioned for the role of a physical therapist named Travis, who helps Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker, 56) get back into high heels after having a hip replacement. The role went to the Australian actor Ryan Cooper (35).
The “Sex and the City” spin-off “And Just Like That …” has been available in Germany since December 9th. The focus of the series is again on Carrie Bradshaw and her friends Charlotte York (Kristin Davis, 56) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon, 55). In ten episodes, the series accompanies the friends in their new phase of life. Kim Cattrall (65) aka Samantha Jones is not there.
