US Actor Awards: Lady Gaga and Will Smith nominated

The trophy season is in full swing. The Golden Globes have already been awarded and the nominees for the SAG Awards have now been announced.
Hollywood’s Actors’ Association (SAG) has given the western family drama “The Power of the Dog” and the crime drama “House of Gucci” the most award nominations. Both films each have three chances to win, as the association announced.
Javier Bardem (“Being the Ricardos”), Denzel Washington (“Macbeth”), Andrew Garfield (“Tick, Tick … Boom! ») And Will Smith (« King Richard »). Smith and Garfield had won the Golden Globes on Sunday as drama and comedy leading actors.
Jennifer Hudson (“Respect”) and Nicole Kidman (“Being the Ricardos”) are nominated for the SAG trophy for best leading actress with Lady Gaga (“House of Gucci”). Kidman won the Golden Globe on Sunday for her portrait of comedian Lucille Ball in the drama “Being the Ricardos”.
Five films, including “Belfast”, “House of Gucci” and “King Richard” are vying for the ensemble award for the entire cast in the top category.
The SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) are scheduled to take place on February 27th in Los Angeles for the 28th time. They are regarded as harbingers of the upcoming Academy Awards at the end of March. The SAG winners are also often awarded prizes at the Oscars.
