The police officers of the departmental security of Hérault carried out a “very nice seizure” of narcotics, Saturday, in Montpellier, welcomed the prefecture, on Twitter. The operation took place in the Rosa Parks housing estate, not far from rue de Montasinos.
The police recovered 244 grams of herbal cannabis, 473 grams of cannabis resin and 22 grams of cocaine. Some of the drugs were packaged in small sachets, evoking famous cartoons or parodying brands of fruit juices, sweets or cereals. “The work continues on the points of deals to break the traffic”, note the services of the prefecture of Hérault.
The district of rue de Montasinos, north-east of Montpellier, had already been the scene of a similar operation by the national police on September 14, recalls the Free lunch. A 20-year-old suspect was arrested and narcotics were seized.
