As in the new Barbie movie, Ryan Gosling is set to star alongside Margot Robbie in the Ocean’s Eleven reboot.
Ryan Gosling (41) is currently in negotiations for a role in the new “Ocean’s Eleven” reboot from Warner Bros. This is reported, among other things, by “The Hollywood Reporter”. Accordingly, the star should be seen alongside Margot Robbie (32). She was signed to the film back in May.
The two Hollywood stars recently stood in front of the camera together. They portrayed Barbie and Ken in the “Barbie” film, which will be released in summer 2023.
Robbie will produce the new “Ocean’s Eleven” film with Tom Ackerley (32) and Michelle Graham. Jay Roach (65) is directing. Details of Carrie Solomon’s screenplay are still under wraps, but what is known is that this is an original Ocean’s Eleven story. This takes place in Europe in the 1960s. The project is said to have not yet received the green light and is currently under development.
Successful franchise since 2001
Warner’s “Ocean’s” franchise was launched in 2001. The first film starred George Clooney (61), Brad Pitt (58), Julia Roberts (54) and Matt Damon (51). It grossed over $450 million worldwide. This was followed by two more sequels in 2004 and 2007 with top-class cast. “Ocean’s 8” was released in cinemas in 2018, starring Sandra Bullock (58), Helena Bonham Carter (56), Anne Hathaway (39), Cate Blanchett (53), Sarah Paulson (47) and Rihanna (34).
