The evacuation of the city, from which the Russian occupier had been driven out last September, was recommended by the local administration.
The administration of the city of Kupyansk, in north-eastern Ukraine, recommended this Thursday, August 10 to its inhabitants to evacuate the city against the backdrop of the advance of the Russian army which, for several days, says progress in this direction.
“Given the difficult security situation and the increase in the number of shellings (…), you can evacuate to a safer place“, Indicated on the Telegram messenger the administration of this city of approximately 25,000 inhabitants before the war, taken over from the Russians last September by the Ukrainian forces.
