There is already a Christmas mood on the NATO website. A large picture refers to the “Message for the New Year” from Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to soldiers and veterans of NATO operations. “All for one and one for all” will remain the motto of the defense alliance in 2022, the video says. On Tuesday, the Norwegian received the last official visitor before Christmas Eve: Romania’s Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, as the former commander in chief of his country’s armed forces, can hardly be surpassed in competence.
