Juliana is running. Even though her knees hurt, even though she can’t breathe. At least she runs until the next traffic light, then she loses her strength. Her cell phone shows her 2:53 minutes, 0.29 kilometers. “Running is great. It’s so nice and blunt,” she says to herself, “You don’t have to think anymore.” But this is not a monologue on the way to self-optimization, no, this running has a completely different starting point: almost a year after her partner Johann committed suicide, the cellist Juliane (Anna Schudt) starts jogging.
