After an attack on a 59-year-old in Ruhpolding, Upper Bavaria, a woman from the man’s personal environment is suspected of having committed the crime. The 61-year-old was provisionally arrested on Friday, the police said on Christmas Eve. However, she was not taken into custody because there was no risk of escaping. “The investigations are extremely difficult,” said a spokesman. The background to the crime was initially unclear.
The man was found unconscious in his workshop on Thursday with a serious stab wound. He was taken to a clinic and operated on. He was said to be out of danger.
