Jungle camp

The 17th season of the jungle camp started on RTL on January 19th. Twelve celebrities try to last 14 days in the best case scenario to grab the crown. Included are Cora Schumacher, David Odonkor, Lucy Diakovska, Twenty4Tim, Sarah Kern and Heinz Hoenig. In the opening episode, the stars had to face two tests and try to bring as many stars as possible to their camp. Heinz Hoenig in particular had a rough tone and caused malicious comments.

Smuggling of the day

The jungle camp stars saw each other for the first time on a yacht. Kim Virginia and Mike Heiter met again here. The two have a history, as in the show “Are You The One?” They became intimate with each other in front of the cameras in the “Boom Boom” room. Previously there was wild speculation about whether they would rekindle their liaison and whether they would have sex in the camp for the first time. When they saw each other again, Mike first said: “What’s going on?” Kim replied, “Did you miss me?” Afterwards they hugged each other.

The celebrities were flown into the Australian jungle in two helicopters. They set off for camp in teams of two. Cora and Heinz got on a trike towards their new home. When they arrived, Cora could hardly believe it: “We’re here, we’re the first here! Everything smells so nice.” But Heinz complained more about his belt, which he couldn’t handle.

There were a lot of malicious comments on social media. “Heinz and his belly button will be our biggest test this year at ‘IBES’,” one user teased. Another said: “I’d rather look at Heinz’s belly button for five minutes before eating carcasses like that.”

Later Heinz also peed next to his lounger. “I had to piss so bad,” he tried to justify his behavior. He could well have committed a violation of the rules, even if wild peeing was not covered by the rules.

Actually, celebrities always have to go to the toilet accompanied by someone. It also says: “The toilet has to be cleaned every day by the stars. In order not to attract animals, meticulous attention must be paid to cleanliness around the toilet.” Later Heinz suddenly said: “Hygiene is very important anyway. I’m also very careful when using the toilet, very important.”

During the conversation between Cora and Tim, things suddenly became very intimate. Because the 47-year-old asked the influencer and singer: “When was the last time you had sex?” Tim replied that this had been the case in Australia. “And that’s why I had such a nice glow when I moved in,” noted the social media star. Jungle test

Like Cora and Heinz, the remaining stars had to collect stars for dinner before the first food test. The ten remaining celebrities had to jump out of a helicopter into a lake and take the “Waterfall” test. Sonja Zietlow explained: “Your job is to climb up this waterfall on foot and arrive at the top with a star.” In ten minutes they got seven stars. At the next jungle test “Würg & Travel” everyone had to compete together. This was the first food test of this year’s season.

A security officer checked whether the stars had smuggled banned food in suitcases. Of course, the team put these in beforehand because they had to be eaten. If swallowing was successful, a star waved. Sarah Kern had a shrink-wrapped pig’s penis, Heinz had a shake made from pureed superworm with cockroaches. The 72-year-old managed it, but the designer had to pass here. David Odonkor (pureed durian fruit) and Felix von Jascheroff (stinky tofu) each received one star.

Fabio (goat testicles), Kim (pig nose) and Mike (mashed mudfish with fish sauce) also successfully choked down the food. The remaining celebrities failed miserably. For Lucy (fish eyes), Anya (fermented plums with nattō beans), Cora (brownie made from pureed chicken heart, stinky tofu, durian and 1,000-year-old egg), Leyla (fermented bean curd with surströmming) and Twenty4Tim (pizza made from ground mealworms, cockroaches with ox heart sauce and three snails) there were zero stars. The stars thus won six out of twelve stars.

Excitement of the day

With an eye on the next show, all fans were called upon to call for the star who would go into the next test. Sonja Zietlow explained with regard to the NFL: “Even in the jungle everyone is crazy about football, you at home have to decide at the draft: Who do you draft?” There should actually be twelve stars to choose from, but Heinz Hoenig’s name was surprisingly crossed out. The moderator explained that Heinz was blocked from the challenge and emphasized: “Please don’t call!” That didn’t go down well with the audience.

Crush of the day

Former “GNTM” candidate Anya was also concerned about whether Kim Virginia and Mike Heiter could hook up again in the jungle camp. “Do you want anything else from him?” the 20-year-old wanted to know from the reality star. “He messed up a lot,” she said. And further: “It’s the same with him as it is with a lot of men: if they need a lot of attention, they’re toxic boys!” Nevertheless, she admitted: “There’s a lot that needs to be clarified, but I still think he’s hot!”

The model emphasized: “David, he’s so pretty!” Kim saw it that way too and remarked with regard to the ex-soccer star: “I said that from the beginning. And he has such a great character!”
