Kai Noll makes a comeback on “Unter Uns”

Kai Noll has allowed himself a “musical sabbatical year”. But now the soap world has him back.
A reunion after a short break: actor Kai Noll returns to the set of the RTL soap “Unter uns”.
“I missed Rufus and I’m looking forward to playing him again and to exciting stories that are told,” said Noll according to the RTL announcement about his series role Rufus Sturm. “It’s a bit like coming home with cowboy boots in your luggage.”
The actor, who was born in Bonn, started on “Unter uns” in 2003 and stood in front of the camera as the caring father Rufus Sturm for almost 18 years. More than a year ago he left Schillerallee and moved to Africa with his daughter – now he is returning home. The new episodes with Kai Noll will run on RTL from April 25th. The broadcaster did not initially reveal how long his role will remain with the fans this time.
Noll used the break to focus on his second passion: music. “I tried a lot in the direction of music during my ‘musical sabbatical year’, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m an old-school rocker,” he said, according to the statement. “Even if nobody can hear it anymore, I like the music.”
