RTL has announced four episodes of the fourth season of the game show “Schlag den Besten”. On Saturday, February 24th The show, in which eleven celebrities compete against each other per episode, will be broadcast on RTL (also via RTL+) at prime time.

“Beat the best”: these are the rules

The celebrities compete against each other in ten different games in the TV format once developed by Stefan Raab (57). “Sportsmanship and brains” are required, according to a press release. You can win 10,000 euros with each round.

But it also gets exciting between the games. The winner of a game must decide before each new round whether he or she wants to continue playing or go home with the money they have already earned. The two best celebrities of the season finally fight for the season jackpot in the finale in the fourth episode.

From ProSieben to RTL

The first three seasons of “Schlag den Besten” ran on ProSieben from 2019. In seasons 1 and 2, people who were not celebrities competed against each other. The show was otherwise similar to the principle of Raab’s “Schlag den Star”. In the third season, the defending champion from the previous show fought against up to ten challengers per show.

In June 2023 it was announced that RTL had snapped up the game show and would broadcast it with an adapted concept. The show “Blamieren oder Kassieren” also returned to the screen on RTL in autumn 2023.
