On day eleven there is further need for discussion in the jungle camp because of a refused examination. A candidate proves himself in the sewers and collects plenty of stars.

Jungle off for actress Tina Ruland: The 55-year-old received the fewest viewer votes on Monday evening and has to leave the RTL jungle camp.

Ruland took the decision calmly – she had previously confirmed at the campfire that she absolutely wanted to win the jungle crown. “It’s okay,” said Ruland and comforted fellow candidate Linda Nobat (26), who shed a few tears after the announcement.

Ruland’s fellow actress Anouschka Renzi also wobbled when making the decision in the evening. The 57-year-old was obviously disappointed that she was not allowed to move out of the camp. Renzi said she wanted to be chosen from the show because she was entitled to less money if she left voluntarily. “I read that part of the contract.” The actress has repeatedly emphasized in the past few days that she is “I’m a star – get me out of here!” only participate for financial reasons.

Stand firm with trust issues

On day eleven, candidate Eric Stehfest (32), who had refused his jungle test the day before, caused friction in the group. The actor said that he had major trust problems, which were due to his years of drug addiction.

The experiences in the jungle camp and his physical condition with little food and sleep have now “triggered” old thought patterns and fears, said Stehfest. “Of course, these voices worked in me.” But he has now understood that the campers are “real people” and wants to work on themselves. “I’m terrified of being that junkie again.”

After a private conversation with Harald Glööckler (56) and an apology to the whole group (“It comes from the heart!”), the campers forgive themselves. “You said that beautifully,” praised model Nobat. The trust is still gone, summarized the former “Bachelorette” candidate Filip Pavlovic (27).

Pavlovic motivated in the jungle test

In contrast to his opponent Stehfest, Pavlovic was particularly motivated in his own jungle test. In a sewage course entitled “Locus Pocus”, he had to deal with rats, snakes and crocodiles, among other things, and collected eight out of eight possible stars.

Because of the corona pandemic, the show will be filmed in South Africa instead of Australia this year. After Ruland’s departure, there are still seven candidates in the running.
