It’s a dark month for RTL boss Thomas Rabe. First he has to lower the profit forecast for his company, then the problems in the magazine business pile up. After the Hamburg publishing house Gruner + Jahr, which has belonged to RTL since last year, Rabe wanted to sell numerous brands. For business punk, salon, p.m, as well as for the stake in Deutsche Medien-Manufaktur, he has already found buyers. But the sale of the last issues is taking longer than expected. Now a promising bidder jumps for the art magazine kind suddenly off again – and for them beef! there is no future at all.
