It comes as the editors had hoped: RTL and Bertelsmann are selling the magazine salon to the previous editor-in-chief Anne Petersen. After the cutback at the magazine publisher Gruner + Jahr, which has belonged to RTL since last year, numerous brands and holdings are currently being sold. Now, for the first time, a new management buy-out has been successful for the sales campaign, which is internally called “Project Pearl”.
