Queen Elizabeth II as a doll? An attraction for many Brits – and a worthwhile investment. Despite a price of 120 euros, the royal special edition of the Barbie was sold out within seconds.
This special edition comes in golden packaging. The barbie wears a royal white dress. She traded her long blond hair for a ladylike gray hairstyle and a tiara – what she wore to her wedding. The face is modeled on that of the Queen.
So Barbie proves once again that she is more than a fashion doll. She has already turned into Florence Nightingale, the famous nurse and founder of modern nursing.

The British mail order company John Lewis announced that the Queen Barbie was sold out within seconds, although the good piece cost around 120 euros.
Many who have bought the miniature queen are now hoping to be able to achieve multiples on Ebay. On the Internet platform there are already offers for around 350 euros. The manufacturer Mattel announced that they might release a second edition.
