In Florian Silbereisen’s show “Schlager des Jahr” Ross Antony is supposed to recognize songs based on just a few words. However, the musician fails miserably because of his own work.
Leipzig – In the ARD show “Schlager des Jahr”, presenter Florian Silbereisen (42) looked back on the year 2023. He was supported by Andy Borg (63) and Ross Antony (49). Between the players, the trio also provided entertainment with games, among other things. One of them, however, was Ross Antony’s undoing.

In addition to emotional moments such as when Florian Silbereisen remembered Heino’s (85) late wife Hannelore (†81) during “Schlager des Jahr”, there was also a cheerful mood in the ARD broadcast. Among other things, the “Dream Ship” captain played the game “Three Words, One Hit” with Ross Antony and Andy Borg.
The two are shown a line consisting of three words and they have to recognize the corresponding hit. Andy Borg complains in advance: “Not from your own hits again, please. I’ve failed so badly before, you remember.” This time, however, this fate doesn’t fall on him, but on Ross Antony.
When the words “Don’t lose a moment” appear, the Englishman knows that it is one of his songs, but not which one. “This is a song of mine, right? But I don’t know which one. […] “It’s so bad, I don’t know my own lines,” he can hardly believe it himself. The former Bro’Sis star bursts out laughing and Florian Silbereisen is also having a great time. Ultimately, Ross guesses his hit “Let love be love” – but that’s wrong. “I am what I am” would have been the right solution.

But no one on the show is really disappointed with Ross. After his faux pas, Andy Borg even stands by his colleague – not least because the same thing happened to him in a previous issue. “I have to defend him, we have already sung so many songs, so many sentences, we have already sung every word that we have ever invented,” claims the 63-year-old.
Florian Silbereisen will also soon be seen in a new episode of “Das Traumschiff”. Things get particularly emotional there for Captain Max Parger. Apparently he fell in love for the first time in the ARD cult series. In a love scene on the beach, Florian Silbereisen leaves nothing to be desired in “Das Traumschiff”.
