An unknown person rang a 31-year-old’s doorbell in Rosenheim and threw an acid mixture in his face when he opened the door. The 31-year-old was so seriously injured on Monday, particularly in the eye area, that he was taken to a special clinic in Munich, the police announced on Friday. The unknown person was wearing a balaclava and fled in an unknown direction. The Bavarian State Criminal Police Office examined the acidic liquid. Criminal Investigation Department took over the investigation.
