A 26-year-old is said to have scratched ten parked cars near the ice stadium in Rosenheim and caused damage worth 100,000 euros. As the police announced on Monday, a sharp object was used in the crime, which sometimes caused deep indentations in the vehicle’s paint. The exterior mirrors on some vehicles were also damaged and in some cases completely worn off.
According to the information, most car owners had parked their cars in the freely accessible parking area around Sunday afternoon to attend the Starbulls Rosenheim ice hockey game against the Eisbären Regensburg. The police initially did not assume there was any connection to the second division game. The 26-year-old has no permanent address and lives in a social facility in the city area. An application for arrest was filed against the man.
