Ronan Keating buries his brother | Entertainment

It’s a heavy burden on the singer’s shoulders. Probably one of the hardest in his life…

Ronan Keating (46) said a forever goodbye to his older brother Ciaran Keating on July 20, who died last Saturday at the age of 57 died tragically in a car accident.

The Boyzone star was joined by his family, including his sister Linda and his two brothers Gerard and Gary, at the funeral service at St Patrick’s Church in Louisburgh, Ireland.

Keating found out about his brother’s accident over the phone. Ciaran Keating collided with another vehicle on his way to his son’s soccer game. He was taken to the hospital but did not survive.

“It’s a call no one wants to take about their loved ones. Ronan dropped everything when he got the devastating news,” a source told The Sun. The 46-year-old played golf with his wife before receiving the devastating news.

Towards the end of the service, five days after the accident, Ronan sang “This Is Your Song” for his brother.

“I shouldn’t sing it under the circumstances, but we do (…)” Ronan said afterwards.

In a few days he wants to be back on stage – and singing in front of an audience. Maybe that will ease the pain a bit.
