After his sensational TV interview with Cristiano Ronaldo, his club Manchester United had already announced consequences. Now they are here: The club and its superstar separate.

It was recently announced that United are even considering a lawsuit against CR7 after the interview was published!

Accordingly, Ronaldo’s contract should be terminated “as soon as possible” and the Portuguese should never play for the “Red Devils” again, as “ESPN” had reported.

What happened?

In a scandalous 90-minute interview with Morgan, Ronaldo settled accounts with ex-coach Ralf Rangnick (64, coach until April 2022) and Manchester United.

The star kicker feels “betrayed” by the way he was treated by Manchester United. He is angry because he was made the “black sheep” and blamed for everything that went wrong at the club. And now he is being actively pushed out of the club.

Ronaldo was at Man United from 2003 to 2009, then switched to Real Madrid for 94 million. He returned to Manchester in the summer of 2021 and has been playing under the third manager since his return. The only thing he has nothing to complain about is his ex-teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (49). CR7 has little good to say about the other two, Ralf Rangnick and current coach Erik ten Hag (52).

Ronaldo is currently with the Portuguese national team at the WM in Qatar. Portugal play their first game against Ghana on Thursday. Other opponents are Uruguay and South Korea. It is Ronaldo’s fifth World Cup appearance.
