Ronaldo: Benzema is my favorite for the Ballon d’Or

Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema is not considered the top favorite to win the Ballon d’Or – but Ronaldo sees it very differently. He raves about the striker.
Brazil’s legendary striker Ronaldo has revealed his personal favorite for the Ballon d’Or award this year: He spoke out in favor of awarding the award to Karim Benzema from Real Madrid.
“My favorite for the Ballon d’Or is without a doubt Benzema,” wrote Ronaldo on Facebook. He also declared his choice: “The best striker, a brutal level for ten years – and above all a real champion,” said the Brazilian.
Benzema will get nothing with Real in 2021
Benzema won the Nations League title with France this year. With his club Real Madrid he went empty-handed in all competitions. With 34 goals and 13 assists in all competitive games, however, his personal record is quite impressive.
The Ballon d’Or will be awarded on November 29th. Lionel Messi (PSG), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) and Jorginho (Chelsea) are favorites.
