Ronald Koeman probably in talks with the Netherlands – successor to van Gaal?
After his dismissal from FC Barcelona, Ronald Koeman could soon have a new job. He is said to follow a legend in the Netherlands.
Since his departure as Coach at FC Barcelona in October of the previous year, Ronald Koeman no longer has a job.
But now the Dutch TV station is reporting NOSthat Koeman is currently in talks with the Dutch Football Association (KNVB).
It is about the successor to Bond coach Louis van Gaal, who has a contract until December 2022.
Should Koeman actually become the successor, it would be the second time that he has coached the “Elftal”. Already from 2018 to 2020 he was for the national team responsible for his homeland and reached the final of the Nations League 2019, which was lost to Portugal.
