The lifelong commitment of Duke Franz von Bayern has now brought him the Romano Guardini Prize 2022. The Catholic Academy in Bavaria gives the 88-year-old head of the House of Wittelsbach the award including 10,000 euros for his commitment in the fields of art and science. Duke Franz of Bavaria was a member of the Academy’s management for 31 years. On behalf of this management, Academy Director Achim Budde is pleased to award the prize to someone who has always supported the Academy with great passion.
