Prince George is one of the king’s four pages at the coronation. When he entered Westminster Abbey, he wore his coat train.

As the second in line to the throne, little Prince George (9) also received an important task at the coronation. He serves as the Page of Honor at the coronation ceremony. When entering Westminster Abbey, he was one of four pages who carried the train of King Charles III. (74). All boys wear traditional red uniforms with gold lace embroidery and blue velvet cuffs for the ceremony according to the British “Daily Mail” first seen at the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. The other pages are all sons of royal families: Lord Oliver Cholmondeley (13), Nicholas Barcley (13) and Ralph Tollemache (12).

George took on his first task confidently and brought the end of the train to its correct place. In addition to the nine-year-old, his parents, Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (41) and his siblings Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) are of course also present in the church.

Camilla’s page of honor

Queen Camilla (75) is also supported by four honorary pages. Her train was carried by her grandsons Gus and Louis Lopes (13), as well as Freddy Parker Bowles (12) and her grandnephew Arthur Elliot (11). 13-year-old Gus caused a scare before the coronation. He broke his arm in a bicycle accident while on vacation. The cast has since been removed, only a small white bandage peeking out from under the sleeve.
