In a sport where anti-vaccine stances are as widespread as they are alarming, this is a decision that could give anyone good ideas. In an interview granted to Swiss media Leman Bleu TV on the sidelines of his return to the circuit at the Geneva tournament, Roger Federer revealed that he had recently been vaccinated with Pfizer (the privilege of age, dare we joke).

“I’m glad I was able to do it with all the trips I take. As I do not work in Switzerland I think there will be advantages. I did it mostly for others. I don’t want to give it to someone else. Be careful. We are very careful with my family and my friends ”.

It could also save him from a positive test that would ruin his ambitions to win one last Wimbledon before hanging up this summer, and perhaps a new Olympic medal, if the Tokyo Olympics take place.
