After years of waiting, the first images are finally here. The trailer for the GTA 6 video game (Grand Theft Auto VI) was revealed by Rockstar Games on the night of Monday to Tuesday, a few hours before the announcement officially planned by the publisher.
Less than two minutes are available to discover the future places and characters that will mark this next title, which promises to be a hit as the anticipation is high. We discover in particular the character of Lucia, the first playable female character, and Vice City, where the plot will take place.
The suspense remained total until Tuesday evening, when the trailer leaked on the Internet. Rockstar Games then decided to officially reveal it on its YouTube channel. The announcement of this first trailer, made a few weeks ago, triggered unprecedented anticipation in the world of video games, to the point that a few studios took part in the parody game.
The last title of the saga, Grand Theft Auto 5, was published in 2013. Since then, it has sold more than 185 million copies, making it one of the best-selling games of all time. The bar is therefore high for Rockstar, which must renew its license with this new opus.
