It’s a bit like watching other people fishing. But what is observed here is a robot in Japan trying to peel a banana. Robots are trendy in Japan. And this video comes from scientists at the University of Tokyo. The robot needs about three minutes to peel the banana with two arms. According to the researchers, more than 13 hours went into training the machine to peel the banana without crushing it. The success rate for this fine motor task is currently around 57 percent.
