The “Hard but Warm” stars are reunited: Stefanie Powers personally congratulates Robert Wagner on his 94th birthday.

This reunion should put a smile on the faces of all “Hard but Warm” fans: Stefanie Powers (81) and Robert Wagner (94) are celebrating a special reunion 40 years after the end of the cult series. Powers personally congratulated her former TV husband on his 94th birthday.

“Happy Birthday to our dearest Robert Wagner. 94 and still going strong. Our latest ‘tough but warm’ moment,” Powers wrote on a shared Snapshot with the birthday child on Instagram. The actor turned 94 on February 10th. The post that the actress made on Tuesday shows how much the two still understand each other.

Fans celebrate the reunion of the former TV dream couple

Both of them beam happily into the camera in the picture. While Wagner sits on a chair and lovingly holds Powers’ hand, the actress leans down to him from behind. “You can still feel your chemistry, great photo” or “you are such a great part of my childhood and even many years later,” were numerous enthusiastic fan comments on the rare snapshot.

The cult series “Hard but Warm” was a real TV street sweeper in the 1980s. From 1979 to 1984, the millionaire couple Jennifer and Jonathan Hart solved lots of tricky cases with their “murderous hobby” and captivated an audience of millions in front of their screens. Ten years after the series ended, a total of eight “Hard but Heartfelt” television films were produced in the mid-1990s. The last one, “Operation Jennifer,” aired in 1996.

Rarely seen on TV anymore

Wagner has only appeared sporadically on television in recent years, for example as the stepfather of Charlie Sheen (58) in “Two and Half Men”. From 2009 to 2019 he played Anthony DiNozzo senior in the crime series “CIS”. Powers, now 81, caused a sensation in 2011 when she took part in the British jungle camp. The actress was never able to build on her former series success. She was last seen in two episodes of the television series “On the Verge” in 2021.
