Dramatic incident at the Robbie Williams concert in Sydney: A woman died of severe head injuries after an accident.

The seriously injured woman who was rushed to hospital after falling at the Robbie Willams concert in Sydney, Australia on Thursday evening has died. A spokesman for the local St. Vincent’s Hospital confirmed this to the British newspaper “The Guardian”. As Sky News Australia first reported on Friday, a dramatic incident occurred during the singer’s performance at the Allianz Stadium. A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital with serious facial and head injuries after an accident.

The older woman had previously fallen in the stands. A spokesman for the emergency services confirmed the incident and said in an initial statement that the woman was taken to hospital in a “critical condition”. According to the report, she was immediately put into an induced coma.

The accident occurred after the Robbie Williams concert when the woman allegedly tried to climb over rows of chairs in the stands instead of using the stairs. The arena operator, Venues NSW, also confirmed the accident and also spoke of a “serious incident”. It was a “terribly sad incident”.

Robbie Williams is currently on an extensive tour of Australia and New Zealand. According to Sky News Australia, there were around 38,000 spectators at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney. The singer is currently presenting his “XXV Tour 2023 – 25 Years of Hits” tour, which takes place down under until the beginning of December. Williams will play the last two concerts this year on December 7th and 8th in Schladming, Austria, at the Planai Stadium as part of the Ski Opening 2023 there.
