More red is not possible: Rita Wilson appeared at the annual Governors Awards on Friday as an elegant lady in red.
Rita Wilson (65) appeared at the Governors Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Friday evening as a noble lady in red – and attracted everyone’s attention with her silk evening gown. The burgundy, floor-length dress captivated with its cape sleeves and the playful ruffles around the waist. The wife of Tom Hanks (65) wore a fine gold chain and a matching bracelet.
Her small Chanel handbag with pink and dark red patterns and a gold shoulder strap was an added eye-catcher, as were the gold peep-toe pumps. The actress wore her dark blonde hair loose and straight. For makeup, she opted for black mascara and a dark red lipstick that matched the dress.

Other Hollywood stars were present at the Governors Awards on Friday, including Samuel L. Jackson (73), John Lithgow (76), Alfre Woodard (69) and Danny Glover (75). The ceremony is organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is also responsible for the Oscars. The coveted gold boys will be awarded in Los Angeles next Sunday, March 27th.
